Hi Asia -- This is Mike (Mick and Joey's dad from Guatemala).

I check back periodically to see how you are and what you are doing. What a great trip - Caymans and Cuba! I agree with you - its nice to see Cuba before the Starbucks start popping up at ever corner. I'm glad you enjoyed your time there.

Mick is still "hanging" - floating without a job or definate thoughts on where to go. He seems happy and content -- just looking for money but not too much from Dad.

Joey is now in high school and things as a freshman are quite different than in middle school. The transition is going okay so far. And of course -- summer is just around the corner.

This year we are headed up to Alaska on a cruise in July. I've always wanted to see the area and while I know it is not the Alaska I saw photos of as a kid, its still Alaska! I hope to see some whales while we are up there. This year Mick won't be traveling with us. Time to find a path - job, school, or whatever. And dad can't afford to pull him along on all the trips! :)

I think of you frequently and remember how whonderful it was to meet you and Zack in Guatemala. I wish you well in reaching each of those things on the "list"!

Go for it Asia!
